I drew cards for the week starting Monday, January 28 and going through Sunday, February 4. The three-card drawing is posted below. The first card represents Monday/Tuesday; the second card represents Wednesday/Thursday, and the last card represents the weekend—Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Cards were drawn from the Shadowscapes Tarot deck.
The first card for Monday/Tuesday is the Knight of Pentacles. The suit of Pentacles or Coins represents our earthly concerns. The Knight can be stubborn and locked into his goal, unable to see things around him. Notice the spirits of the woods floating around helping him to get through the light, yet he is so focused he does not see this. He has a goal and it will be reached. This should not be mistaken for a random act as the Knight has done his research and his success is based on reaching the goal. The Knight is loyal and down-to-earth. This is a person of integrity who is trustworthy and responsible. This could be you or someone in your life. The Knight card can also represent situations and in this instance, it could mean it is time to buckle down and get work done. The planning stage is over and now it is time for action. Honor your promises and commitments.
The second card, representing the middle of the week, Wednesday/Thursday, is the Seven of Pentacles. We have seen the Seven of Pentacles in the 2018 Yearly Reading. This is the card for January and coincidentally comes up on the last day of January and carries through the first of February. Here is a woman, lovingly tending her garden. The peaches in her basket are a reminder of summer when there was more relaxation and there the days were long. Because the card is reversed, this is an indication that you are becoming impatient or are filled with anxiety. Perhaps you want to pick the fruit off of the tree before it has fully ripened. You are reminded to relax. The outcome depends on your relaxation. Everything works in Divine right timing. A rushed process will result poorly. The fruit will not taste good if you pluck it too early. It looks like the middle of the week will be a good time for you to relax. Another important thing happening in the middle of the week is the full moon/supermoon/blue moon/total lunar eclipse, all occurring early on January 31st. This is rare as they all are occurring on the same day. If we are patient and follow the signs of nature, wonderful things do happen.
The third card, representing the weekend, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, is the Nine of Swords. The weekend starts with Groundhog Day on Friday. The suit of swords aligns with the element of Air. It is associated with thought and the season of winter. This is a warning. The Nine of Swords is about despair, disappoint or deception. If you do not let go of the worry and anxiety from the middle of the week, it could turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy. There may be sleepless nights or restless sleeping due to nightmares. If you remember them as you wake, write them down and bless them so that they get released. During the day, stay positive. Do not allow despair to take you over. If you have regrets or misgivings, release them and ask for forgiveness. In the card, we see the funnel cloud swirling overhead and yet the crows fly freely about. Do not be rendered immobile with fear as this young man apparently is. Instead, listen for guidance and then fly freely where the light calls and sets you free.
There you have it. It looks like it could be a challenging week. Blessings to everyone. Stay in the light and stand in your truth. Be a beacon of light so that others may find their way.
Peace and Love,
