Weekly Tarot For The Week Starting 04.30.2018

Hello, Dear Ones. This is your weekly tarot reading for the week starting April 30, 2018. For this reading, I used the traditional Rider-Waite deck. The cards are shown below. Please remember to reflect on each card and see what it brings up for you personally before reading my interpretation. Tarot decks and readings are personal and so it is good to take time to reflect on the pictures and meanings that are brought up for you. Then read the interpretation and see if it adds any more information to what you already know. So let’s get started.

For Monday/Tuesday, April 30-May 1, the card is a major arcana–12-The Hanged Man. The Hanged Man is hanging from the Tree of Life with a glow about his head and his legs forming a cross. He has come a long way since starting his journey. This card is about spirituality and wisdom. It is about looking at life from a different perspective. You may be at a turning point along your journey. This could be a big (remember major arcana cards represent the bigger events in our lives) physical change or it could be emotional or spiritual. In order for this to happen, you may be asked to make sacrifices and adapt to your new environment. Think outside the box and be more selfless. Like The Hanged Man and other spiritual leaders in similar positions, it is sometimes necessary to surrender yourself to your changing environment in order to gain wisdom and continue your journey. Take time to meditate and listen to the guidance you are being given early in the week.

For the middle of the week, Wednesday/Thursday, May 2-3, the card is Three of Cups. This is a good card to follow The Hanged Man. Notice how the three women are raising cups to toast their success. One is wearing a white robe signifying purity, another is wearing a red robe signifying life force, and the third is wearing a gold robe signifying wealth and abundance. This card signifies abundance, success. celebration, happiness and anything else that brings you joy. Joy can be found in your body, your emotions, your soul. It means the middle of the week will be a good time to celebrate! Perhaps by surrendering to the changes taking place in your life on Monday/Tuesday, you will quickly see that there is much to celebrate. Your work will be noticed and you can take time to stop and enjoy the fruits of your hard work thus far.

Finally, we get to the weekend, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, May 4-6, where the card is Five of Pentacles. Wow. What a change. This is a reminder of how quickly life can change. The impoverished man and woman walking past the stained glass window in the snow, show that life can be a struggle. The man is on crutches and the woman is clearly cold under her worn wrap. There could be loneliness, loss, unemployment or other types of struggle about to appear. However, while the Five of Pentacles shows a struggle, it also shows the man and woman walking by the stained glass window of a church where solace can be found with the Divine. Solace is also found in a community. Remember, tarot shows what is possible, not what is inevitable. We read tarot so that we can get a heads-up on how the law of attraction is working in our lives. If you don’t like what you are attracting, you have the power to change the outcome. Surround yourself with loved ones and be mindful of how you spend your time, energy, and money. This could be a sign that you are living in a poverty consciousness and focusing too much on lack rather than counting your blessings and living the abundant life you have been given.

So that’s the weekly reading. We just had the full moon Sunday, April 29 so now is a good time to take inventory and begin releasing what no longer serves you so that you can continue manifesting what you do want with the coming new moon on April 15. Be mindful of the energy you are putting out into the world and walk in peace. Blessings to you all.

Peace and Love,
