This is your weekly tarot for the week starting Monday, October 29, 2018. The cards used this week are Shadowscape Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law and Barbara Moore. So get still, take a few deep breaths, and think about the question you would like to ask the card. I have asked what we all might focus on for the coming week. The cards and my interpretation are shown below. Remember that my interpretation is meant to guide you but if you feel differently about a card, always go with your cut. You are intuitive and you can read the cards accurately when you tune in to the Divine within you.
For Monday/Tuesday, October 29-30, the card is the Page of Pentacles. The Page of Pentacles is about opportunities for growth and prosperity. Pages are light-hearted and full of joy. They are diligent, studious, and practical. Often times the Page symbolizes an introvert or conscientious person. So early in the week, do not be afraid to dig in and work hard. You will benefit from such work whether it is physical or mental. Do the work and enjoy the work you do.
For Wednesday/Thursday, October 31-November 1, the card is the Three of Cups. This is a card of friendship and celebration. It is about success, victory, and abundance. In the middle of the week, there will be harmony between the mind, body, and spirit. If you worked hard early in the week or have been working hard for some time, this is a reminder to stop and celebrate the successes you have achieved. Let go of stress and be playful. Laughter is called for. Like those in the card above, feel your body get light in the water and sway to the song you hear in your heart. Threes are about friendship and very close relationships.
Fro the weekend, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, November 2-4, the card is the Knight of Pentacles. Knights are interesting because they can be very stubborn and set in their ways. While this makes it somewhat challenging for others, they often get what they want due to their stubbornness. Knights are people of integrity. They are responsible and trustworthy. This could be a sign for you to remain patient and be responsible. If you are waiting for some news to arrive, be patient. If you stay balanced and maintain a strong work ethic, you will reach your goal. Unlike the Page early in the week, the Knight seems less playful but more responsible; less curious, but more steadfast. Know what you want and work toward that goal.
Other things happening this week include on Wednesday, October 31st, the celebration of the Christian holiday, Halloween and the pagan festival, Samhain. Also starting on October 31st is the Mexican holiday, Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead–a celebration of life and death for ancestors living and dead. The celebration carries on to All Saints Day on November and ends with All Souls Day on Friday, November 2. Together these three holidays form a Tridium common in Catholicism. The moon will also be in the last quarter on Wednesday, October 31st. We are entering a symbolic time for the end of the harvest and the beginning of colder weather (at least in the northern hemisphere). On Sunday, those states that participate will begin Daylight Savings Time (DST) when the clocks are turned back an hour and the days appear even shorter. This is a good week to be mindful of beginnings and endings, and pray for those living and those who have moved on.
Peace & Love,
